The premiere screening for John Turner's labour of love has been and gone. If you were unable to attend, you missed out on a great night down at the Aubin Cinema, complete with live blues guitarist providing the evening's soundtrack and a Ragtop goodie bag for everyone who attended. Along with stickers and pinbadges, everyone who was there received a pretty cool handmade zine:

Designed by the awesome Robin Howie (who also created the film's titles), the zine is an awesome momento of the night and of the film; not least because of the true-to-life(?) illustration of the director himself:

I rescued this cassette from being thrown out along with the rest of my Dad's tape collection as it contains some pretty stone-cold AM radio rock jams from the 70s & 80s. Toto, Boston, Blue Oyster Cult... It's all the songs you know & love from the previous 100 times you've heard them! All it needs is some Steve Miller Band and we'd have a nuclear party/the best pub jukebox on our hands. Side One and Side Two (Sides! Remember those?!) have been uploaded to Soundcloud (complete with authentic tape hissss) for your enjoyment and are below for your pleasure. Enjoy!
