The Ragtop Boys : Zine
The premiere screening for John Turner's labour of love has been and gone. If you were unable to attend, you missed out on a great night down at the Aubin Cinema, complete with live blues guitarist providing the evening's soundtrack and a Ragtop goodie bag for everyone who attended. Along with stickers and pinbadges, everyone who was there received a pretty cool handmade zine:
Designed by the awesome Robin Howie (who also created the film's titles), the zine is an awesome momento of the night and of the film; not least because of the true-to-life(?) illustration of the director himself:

"The Ragtop Boys" Trailer by John Turner
After months of anticipation, we're finally able to bring you the trailer for John Turner's self-penned short "The Ragtop Boys" (which has it's full premiere in March!) Made in collaboration with the American vintage menswear store Ragtop, it's a stylish affair. All the characters are wearing authentic 50s/60s clothes sold at the store. Watch it- it's something pretty special.

A selection of pics taken from this week's wardrobe session for John Turner's short. We all met at David Ragtop's amazing house where he keeps his clothes and we all had a very hard time not buying all of his lovely wears. We're confident the shoot's going to be pretty amazing.
