Music Time: American Heartbeat

Whether you're looking to wind down or ramp up your Friday afternoon, let us suggest a suitable soundtrack to guide you into the weekend. Played more then a few times in the office is "American Heartbeat":

I rescued this cassette from being thrown out along with the rest of my Dad's tape collection as it contains some pretty stone-cold AM radio rock jams from the 70s & 80s. Toto, Boston, Blue Oyster Cult... It's all the songs you know & love from the previous 100 times you've heard them! All it needs is some Steve Miller Band and we'd have a nuclear party/the best pub jukebox on our hands. Side One and Side Two (Sides! Remember those?!) have been uploaded to Soundcloud (complete with authentic tape hissss) for your enjoyment and are below for your pleasure. Enjoy!

Sharwood's "Great British Curry" by Stuart Douglas

The urge to insert curry puns is almost too great (...too jalfr-easy?), so it's best if we were to just say this is Stuart's latest which is currently airing on a TV set near you. Sharwood's chefs get inspired by the nation's best curries.

And you thought the snow here was bad

An image from Rich's recent visit to a certain Italian sports car manufacturer's headquarters, where they had quite a bit of snow- hence the 'outfits'.

Production, Shanghai style

"Having fun in Shanghai," writes producer Tom who's over there shooting with JJ Keith at the moment. "This is Geok. The Executing Producer for Loft Films. She has a no-nonsense style that is very refreshing."
